Chapter 609: Madara Vs the Tailed Beasts Part-2

"There is no time to waste! We can't allow Madara to gain a chance to counterattack." Tobirama claps his hands and uses one powerful water release jutsu after another.

"Water Release: Water Prison,"

A massive water bubble spanning several hundred meters engulfs Madara.

"Ice Release: Absolute Zero,"

Haku joins forces with Tobirama and freezes the entire water prison into a dense sphere of ice.

"That's some fine chakra control." Hashirama glances in Haku's direction and nods his head in acknowledgment.

"Big Brother, it's not time to shower compliments. Use all you have to got to seal Madara for good."

"Very well!"

Hashirama claps his hands and enters Sage Mode.

"Sage Art: Gate of Great God,"

Bang bang

Several massive Tori gates fall on top of the ice sphere.

"Seal!"

Mito reinforces the seal with several Shimenawa-shaped chains of chakra.

Crack crack

Several cracks spread across the wooden Tori gates and the ice sphere.

Hashirama clenches his fists and channels all his Sage chakra to prevent the collapse of the formation.

"I can't hold him any longer!" Several cracks appear on Hashirama's Edo body.

"Or rather, this body can't handle more of my strength."

Several black rods erupt from the ground, impaling the shinobis around the frozen sphere. Even Mei and other Kages aren't spared from the attack.

Suddenly, a powerful pressure descends on the battlefield, forcing every shinobi to their knees. The pressure is concentrated more around the four Edo Shinobis.

Cracks spread across the surface of the massive ice sphere.

With a loud noise, the ice sphere shatters into several fragments and rains down on the battlefield.

Madara hovers in the air above the group and glances at them with contempt.

Hashirama opens his mouth but is lost for words.

"Hashirama, rest well!"

Madara extends his palm and shoots several black receiver rods from his right palm.

The black receiver rods pierces through Hashirama's body and pins him to the ground. Madara grabs Hashirama's neck and absorbs all of his Sage chakra to further strengthen his own. After dealing with Hashirama, he turns to Tobirama.

"I always held a grudge against you for killing Izuna. However, I never got a chance to repay you. Although you are already dead, it's still not too late to exact my revenge."

Madara flickers beside Tobirama.

He pierces several black receiver rods across Tobirama's body, turning him into a porcupine.

Madara places his palm on Tobirama's forehead. Purple purgatory flames ignite on his palm. He uses the power of the Human path to extract Tobirama's soul from Edo's body.

The purple flames envelop the transparent soul of Tobirama.

Tobirama screams in pain while holding his head. Blood tears flow from his eyes. Madara uses the torture ability of the Naraka path to burn Tobirama's soul in hell flames.

After dealing with Hashirama and Tobirama, Madara turns his attention to the tailed beasts. As for Mito and Hiruzen, he pierces their body with several black receiver rods to immobilize them.

Madara makes a series of quick hand signs and slams his palm on the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu,"

The massive Gedo Statue in the distance vanishes in a puff of white smoke. It reappears beside Madara.

"It's in a bit of a rough shape. But that's fine!"

"Hengoku!" A brief chakra light flash in Madara's Rinnegan.

A powerful, invisible force overwhelms the seven-tailed beasts in an instant.

"Now With all these wild beasts domesticated, it's time to put a collar on them."

Madara makes a series of hand signs.

The Gedo statue cracks open its mouth and releases several cursed chains with the dragon head, infused with the power of the Rinnegan.

The cursed dragon chains wrap around the necks of the tailed beasts and bite into their flesh.

The tailed beasts scream in misery as the chains amplify the pain they feel.

"I I can't move!" Shukaku attempts to struggle.

"All of my strength is sapped out of my body." Son Goku holds the chain in his hand but is unable to stop the pull.

The cursed chains drag the bodies of the Seven tailed beasts towards the Gedo statue and swallow them.

Madara turns his attention to Naruto and Bee.

Both Naruto and Bee, having exhausted their strength against the ten-tails, struggle to stand up while facing Madara.

"Resistance is futile! As the Jinchuriki of a tailed beast, your lives must be quite miserable. Now, I will end your misery by giving both of you a quick death."

Two thicker, cursed dragon chains erupt from the Gedo statue and pierce through Naruto and Bee's abdomen.

A splash of blood scatters on the ground.

Naruto and Bee spew out a mouthful of blood and their vision turns blurry.

Their bodies lifelessly fell to the ground as the chains extracts two orbs of dark orange chakra from their body. The two chakra orbs morph into Gyki and Kurama with the cursed dragon chains wrapped around their neck.

Gyki and Kurama struggle while they are being dragged inside the mouth of the Gedo statue.

"Hmm I didn't expect them to share such a close bond with their Jinchuriki."

Before being engulfed by the Gedo statue, Gyki severs one of his tentacles. The tentacle separates from his body and turns into a small chakra orb before entering Bee's body.

Similarly, before Kurama vanishes into the Gedo statue, it leaves a last message to Kushina through their mental link.

"Huh! The nine-tail is severely lacking in chakra."

"It's because it was split in half by the former Fourth Hokage." Zetsu crawls out of the ground and stands beside Madara.

"Then where is the other half?" Madara asks him.

"No clue! They hid him pretty well." Zetsu shakes his head.

"Having a complete-tailed beast doesn't matter. Even half of Nine Tail's chakra is more than sufficient to activate the jutsu."

Sakura and Hinata scream in shock as Naruto's body lifelessly falls to the ground.

Sakura clenches her fists and punches her thigh to remove the black receiver rod from it. Hinata infuses the chakra into her palm and uses the gentle fist technique to pull out the rod from her foot.

"Naruto-kun!"

Both of them rush towards Naruto to check his well-being.

He flickers beside Bee and holds him in his arms.

"We have to save Naruto. He is rapidly losing his vitals." Sakura desperately uses her medical skills to save Naruto.

"Sakura, there is only one way to save Naruto." Kushina's agitated voice rings in Sakura and Hinata's ears.

"Take him back to Konoha and enter the secret space. Now, I will send you two to Konoha."

Before the two girls could react, they disappear from the battlefield.

Sasuke clenches his fists and teeth. Blood flows from his gums. He saw Naruto's declining vitals with his own eyes.
