Titan Rising Online: World Breaker

Chapter 330 330: Extraction III

Garudon was not using his full potential, even with the whole light show that followed after his threat. His flames went from golden orange to a blood red. The kind that was unnatural and you just could tell it was freaky as fuck by looking at it. It did not matter that the red flames had black screaming skulls and weirdly stretched faces with mouths open in a silent scream.

It was rapidly dawning on Cole that perhaps this was Garudon's best form. His massive dragon body would be bulky and really hard to move with ease. And against an opponent with Cole, it would be hard to escape his speed or the fact that he was well suited to attacking multiple people and keeping them contained for high impact attacks of the kind that can turn a person to dust.

The dragon already had a counter for Cole's speed. He was stronger than Cole in every way, but he would lose that advantage in his full form and would have to deal with a mosquito with teleportation powers. He had already experienced that during his younger years, and there was no way in hell he would be doing so again.

Cole rushed forwards, just as leathery wings burst out of Garudon's back and propelled his human figure towards Cole, sword pointed. Their blades slapped against each other as Cole stepped in by slashing upwards with [Methuselah] his sheathe was there to meet the spear as Cole snapped his head forwards.

They smashed into each other as Cole staggered backwards his vision turning black for a second. He had just headbutted a dragon, he would never recommend that to anyone in a fight against a dragon. Cole flooded energy into Black Malakai as he slashed upwards, just as the dragon slashed horizontally.

[Black Cut]

[Red Fire: Crescent Horizon]

Both skills smashed into each other with the force of a small yield nuclear warhead. They were both blasted backwards, this time the force being a hundred times stronger than before. They smashed their way through the warehouse, coming up in opposite directions in the cell areas.

Cole had smashed through three cells, leaving its inhabitants stained mush allover the place. Even if he didn't have a body that was really sturdy, just the force from the initial clash alone would have given his body the speed and power of a bullet, only an overly large one.

Garudon appeared in front of Cole his blade slicing down. Cole swung [Methuselah] towards Garudon, watching impassively as the Dragon jumped back to evade. But at the peak of his evasion, Cole made [Methuselah] grow back to its full form as the spear head pierced into Garudon's centre and pushed him back. The dragon grunted in pain as Cole pulled the spear back, its tip coated in bright red blood that was actually aflame.

Cole flicked the spear, sending the blood spattering to the ground as [Black Malakai] left his hand to float in the air. He flipped the spear his right hand holding it palm down while the rest of its shaft hung under his straight elbow. The left hand supported the spear as if it was a gun as Cole attacked.

The spear bit forwards with the speed of a snake, once, twice and then a third time as Cole pulled it back and punched out, [Gravity] blasting outwards and it smashed into Garudon's chest, pushing the dragon a few steps backwards. Cole followed jumping and he stabbed the spear forwards releasing trails of green and blue light.

Garudon struggled to keep up as Cole was now using a different mastery. [Longevity Spearmanship] emphasized on firm stances and fluid quick movements. The problem is, this is not an attacking technique. It was purely defensive and more about evasion, it was up to you to fill in the blanks and make attacks between stances.

Nature would always find a way and it was no different with this skill. Garudon reacted, opening his mouth and bathing Cole in fiery volcanic flames and Lava. He took it all, screaming out loud in pain in the process, as he spun the spear in his hand, as Chaos danced across its entire length as Cole blasted it forwards.

It slammed into Garudon's open mouth and out the back of his head as  the fire was cut short abruptly and a wet chocking sound filled the surrounding. Of course Cole knew this was not enough to kill the dragon, even now he could see the wound healing at a rate that was not just comparable to his, but absolutely supersedes it.This chapter is updat𝓮d by nov(e)(l)biin.com

But be that as it may Cole was only looking for an opening. Just that single one second to make a difference, and he got it. He vanished, showing up in front of Garudon as Cole, in an almost comically slow motion placed his hands on Garudon and said to the dragon with so much cheer on his face, it shocked the creature.

"You were a challenge of pure skill, I'm happy because you really were a threat until you foolishly decided to battle me in a human form. A form that's not native to you, but I'm very familiar with. And then the audacity to battle me with my own technique using a Diamond rank sword, which I thank you for by the way.

Your arrogance is you own undoing, and didn't your mother tell you…..you don't make deals with a devil."

[Sin Eater]

And the rest they say, is history…..or so it should have been, but Garudon was not going down easily. He stabbed his blade deep into Cole, the flames from the sword attempting to burn him from within as even Cole's own energy was set ablaze from the flames.

But it did not matter, Cole still kept on drawing from Garudon, even as the Dragon pulled his sword out and stabbed it into Cole, again and again and again. The agony was almost unraveling, but Cole was wearing the dragon down….but so was the dragon too. Now it was a test of will between the both of them, a test to see who would bring the other down….first!"
