My MC has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder, in other words, multiple personalities.) It might be a turn off for you, but trust me, it makes the plot better. Collapse R-18, Cultivation, Royalty, Monsters, Male Protagonist, Death I read up till ch. 45 and honestly, I can't continue with this. The MC is too stupid for my liking. He's supposed to be a 15 year old assassin who has killed numerous people but he has none of the maturity you would expect of someone who has lived that kind of life. Some people might say "he's still young" which I say is nonsense cause the life he lived would've forced him to mature VERY EARLY; Spoilerwhile a kid, before his very eyes, his dad was killed, his mom raped; then killed, he starved for days, murdered 4 men, suffered harsh training, and has killed people in the 100s at least. Some MCs don't even experience half these tragedies and are very mature. He is rash and careless. He gives out critical information about himself that he should've kept quiet, and recklessly spends his money even though he's not settled enough to be able to earn any for himself. Every action he takes is aimed at drawing attention to himself. As at where I decided to stop reading, he kept arrogantly drawing aggro from someone who has no chance of ever beating in a fight. His alternate personalities are all smarter and more mature than him but he stubbornly refuses to listen to their advice and just does what he wants. He's pretty much a typical young master except in his case, there's no one who's going to rise up to save him if when he bites off more than he can chew. As an assassin, one would expect him to be calm and experienced in staying low-key but rather, it's like if he's isn't in the spotlight, there's a huge problem. It's like the author forgot that he was supposed to be an reserved, cold assassin. I really liked the idea of the novel but it feels like the author did not have the ability to refine that idea into a real gem with their writing. It's rather unfortunate. I thought the cover was Sasuke Sad it was dropped 😭 I like MC that is weird, sometimes detective type, sometimes idiot, sometime domineering and sometimes op dark type. Hero type mc are too boring and friendship type, I'm so fed up with that kind of mc. You have no power if you didn't realize about friendship and love, Tssk how can you have that kind of power for you to realize the power of friendship and love. I hope this isn't that kind of MC. Can you tell me if the MC is a idiot pls? Is the MC stupid?
